Jay Jay the Jet Plane is known to be a Christian series as well as its usual standard format. Since 2003, when David Michel quit his job with the show, he decided that the show would also have an alternate dubbing in which it teaches the same lesson, but for Christian culture.
Certain Tommy Nelson VHS from "Focus on the Family", as well as certain DVDs, have this special edit. The storyline is unchanged, but some of the dialogue is altered to add mentions to God and the Bible; though the characters' mouths are not synced.
Below is a complete list of changes to every episode.

Jay Jay:(seeing the lightning bugs) Wow! They look just like shooting stars! Big Jake: They sure do. They're beautiful. Jay Jay: I wish we could both share good times like this forever. Big Jake: Well, Jay Jay, we need to just be grateful for today. Jay Jay: Oh. (giggles) Right, sorry. Big Jake: That's alright. Jay Jay: Did you hope for this too, Big Jake? Big Jake: Mmm-hmm. Jay Jay: Well, you don't have to tell me what it was. I already know.
Narrator: Jay Jay really did know, too. Because, whenever you spend a lot of time with a person you care about, you get to know what's in their heart, without them ever having to tell you.
Narrator: Jay Jay realized that spending time with someone you care for, helps you know what's in their heart. Just like spending time with God helps us know His heart better, too.
Narrator: As much as Jay Jay loved the wild ride, he still missed just talking to his big, best buddy. But Big Jake didn't know that, he thought that they were having the time of their lives.
Narrator: Jay Jay loved the ride, but he still missed just talking to his big, best buddy. And that made him think, how much God must miss it too, when Jay Jay didn't take time to talk with him.
Narrator: Big Jake still didn't understand that all Jay Jay wanted was to have his quiet time back with Big Jake.
Narrator: Tired and a bit discouraged, Jay Jay thought about their day as he quietly began to pray.
Narrator: So, once again, Jay Jay took to the skies, while Tuffy and Revvin' Evan rode along down below. They were going to find that treasure.
Narrator: So, once again, Jay Jay took to the skies, while Tuffy and Revvin' Evan searched below, to see what rare treasure God had for them to find.
Narrator: Yes, thanks to this grand adventure, Tuffy found her treasure after all. She learned that the rocks in the earth are one of the greatest natural treasures we have. And Tuffy would never, ever complain about rocks again.
Big Jake: Oh, you shouldn't feel like you need to keep secrets from your friends, Jay Jay.
Big Jake: You shouldn't feel like that, Jay Jay. God wants us all to take care of our wonderful frames.
Narrator: And so, from that moment on, Jay Jay was never ashamed of doing his exercises again. He learned that everyone needs to do things to take care of themselves. And it was the best camping trip they ever had.
Narrator: And so, from that moment on, Jay Jay was never ashamed of doing his exercises again, he wanted to please God by taking care of his very special frame, and it was the best camping trip he ever had.
Narrator: Jay Jay was in a big hurry to see something special that was about to happen at Brenda Blue's workshop.

Narrator: So, Jay Jay told Snuffy what he wanted him to do. And while Snuffy went off to do it, Jay Jay visited everybody else, to see how their part in the Winter Parade was coming along.
Narrator: As Jay Jay gave Snuffy his assignments, he wanted his gift to be perfect, to show how everyone meant to him. But they kept so busy, he had no time to enjoy them.
Narrator: With his snowstorm all checked out, it was time to see how Snuffy was doing with his part of the parade.
Narrator: Jay Jay was so rushed, he forgot: God says our best gift to our friends is ourselves.
Narrator: Jay Jay was unhappy that he couldn't give his gift to his friends to show them how much he loved them.
Narrator: Jay Jay's parade was supposed to show everyone how much he cared.
Narrator: It was sometime later that night, when Jay Jay was awakened from his sleep.
Narrator: God's sparkling snow was perfect for Jay Jay's friends to use to help cheer him up.
Brenda: See, Jay Jay? Your parade can happen, after all. But, it's not a light parade anymore, it's an ice parade!
Brenda: See, Jay Jay? Your parade can happen, after all. The beautiful ice God sent us is making an even better parade!
Narrator: To his surprise, each and every one of them showed Jay Jay doing things with one of his friends. Like spending time with Snuffy, or camping with Big Jake, or counting crates for Brenda. Yes, the whole Ice Parade was a tribute to their favorite little jet plane, Jay Jay.
Narrator: To Jay Jay's amazement, in each of their beautiful ice sculptures, there he was, doing all sorts of things with his friends. Just as God shows evidence of His love for us in His creation, Jay Jay's friends used their ice sculpture creations to show their love for Jay Jay. And they included all the things they'd enjoyed doing with him.
Brenda: That's just the point, Jay Jay. Each one of them is a reminder that you don't have to give us one big gift at the end of the year, because all year long you give a little bit of yourself each and every day.
Brenda: That's right, Jay Jay. You see, Tracy remembered how God gave us the gift of our beautiful world. And she thought maybe we could show how special you are through our ice creations.
Narrator: So that's how Jay Jay realized that giving is something you do all year long, to show friends how much you love them. Something Jay Jay had always done, every day of the year.
Narrator: So that's how God taught Jay Jay that being a good friend means loving and helping one another every day. That's an important part of God's plan for us.
Narrator: God's world is full of such beauty, and nobody enjoys it more than little Snuffy. That's why he liked to fly to Tarrytown National Park. He loved to be surprised by the beauty of nature, the sights, the sounds, and of course...the lovely smells. But one day, he came upon the most astonishing surprise of them all. It was so incredible and amazing, Snuffy thought it would've been impossible for God to create such a thing. What was it, you ask?
Narrator: You see, the young planes needed to learn that if God wants to, he can make even water fall up.
Narrator: So once again, God was at work. He was about to help Jay Jay learn much more about His creation.
Narrator: Never again would Jay Jay doubt that God has created amazing things, even things we think are impossible, because the world is full of His incredible creations, geysers being one of the best.
Brenda: Hey, why don't you guys go wish Big Jake good luck?
Hey, why don't you guys see Big Jake off?
Oscar: Don't mention it. And, good luck!
Don't mention it. And, goodbye!
Narrator: Well, Big Jake had a lot to think about. He wanted to take Old Oscar's advice, but he was concerned about creating an airshow in so little time.
Narrator: Big Jake had a lot to think about. He knew the Bible says we should always try our best, but he was concerned about creating an airshow in so little time.
Big Jake: Well, when the Wonderbirds couldn't perform today, I was ready to throw in the towel, but you kids taught me to never give up. And you reminded me that when something's important, there's always a way to get it done.
Big Jake: Well, when the Wonderbirds couldn't perform today, I kinda forgot what the Bible says: that when we work together, we can do the good things that God has prepared for us to do. Thanks for a great show.
Narrator: Clouds come in all shapes and sizes. Jay Jay, Tracy and Snuffy were looking at them one fine morning.

Narrator: Now, Jay Jay was enjoying this beautiful summer day so much.... (Jay Jay inhales and closes his eyes for a minute) ...that as he felt the nice, gentle wind blow across his face, he closed his eyes and began to sleep, and to dream.
Narrator: But Jay Jay knew that he had seen a giant S.O.S. in the clouds, and he had to find out why.
